Recognizing a Social Work Professional on Our Team
We are proud to have social work leadership embedded within the Brightstone team through Lauren Kraemer McMahon, LCSW.
Lauren serves as Brightstone’s Director of Operations and Clinical Support, where she helps oversee program organization, clinical supervision, and the implementation of best practices that support quality care throughout the program.
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 15 years of experience in mental health and recovery services, Lauren brings a depth of professional insight and compassion to her role. Her career has included directing clinical services at Brightstone, operating her own private practice, and developing women’s treatment and recovery programs.
In her current position, Lauren supports both clients and staff through mentorship, program development, and collaboration with families and professionals. Her leadership helps ensure that Brightstone’s environment remains one where young adults feel supported, respected, and encouraged to grow.
Lauren’s work reflects the heart of the social work profession: creating spaces where people are understood, supported, and empowered to move forward.

“What I’ve always loved about social work is that it allows us to see people in the full context of their lives: their relationships, their challenges, their strengths, and their potential. Watching someone begin to recognize their own capability and resilience is one of the most meaningful parts of this work.”
