THE IMPORTANCE OF MENTORS

An estimated half a million youth with autism will enter adulthood in the next decade.

What We Know
Autism is diagnosed on a spectrum; therefore everyone is different.
Each young adult has built a foundation of different skills, accomplishments, and strengths.
Success is steered by hope, determination, discovery

Importance of Mentors
We believe that parents, professionals and community members who celebrate differences and foster hope can make a huge difference in the lives of young adult with autism. Here at Brightstone, we are lucky to employ qualified mentors that recognize our young adults on an individual basis while supporting them to live their most independent lives.

Mentors play a vital role in supporting young adults in their journey toward independence. They create opportunities to nurture and instruct the young adults in establishing a more positive affirmed sense of self while recognizing the uniqueness of each individual.
