Located in the beautiful mountains of North Georgia, the program is conveniently located one hour north of Atlanta. Utilizing over 100 years of combined program experience, the Brightstone teams takes learning from the classroom into the real world.
At Brightstone, we believe for truly individualized care to be effective, we have to have a small community in order to move beyond program centered learning and into real world applications. We have intentionally capped our men’s and women’s programs at six clients each. This allows our staff the opportunity to work one-on-one with each client in order to help coach them to their independence. Moving beyond a group care model to truly individualized care in a small group setting is the hallmark of our program.
We specialize in creating customized support programs. We use action-oriented approaches that create learning opportunities through real life situations. With guidance from mentors, clients learn self advocacy, obtain employment, volunteer, enroll in college or technical school, and learn what it means to be truly self-sufficient.
We work collaboratively with each client’s established mental health professionals and providers during their stay at Brightstone. We maintain weekly family calls and initiate any other obligations pertinent to the young adult’s plan of care and treatment in order to ensure your young adult’s success at Brightstone.
