Located in the beautiful mountains of North Georgia, the program is conveniently located one hour north of Atlanta. Utilizing over 50 years of combined program experience, the Brightstone teams takes learning from the classroom into the real world.
At Brightstone we believe for true individualized care we have to have a small community to move beyond program centered learning into real world applications. We have intentionally capped our men’s and women’s program at six clients. This allows our staff to be able to work one on one with the clients in the real world to help coach them to their independence. Moving beyond a group care model to truly individualized care in a small group setting is the hallmark of our program.
We specialize in creating customized support programs. We use action-oriented approaches that create learning opportunities through real life situations. With guidance from mentors, clients learn self advocacy, obtain employment, volunteer, enroll in college or technical school, and learn what it means to be truly self sufficient.
We will work collaboratively with your established mental health professionals and providers during each client’s stay, maintaining weekly family calls and other obligations pertinent to the young adult’s plan of care and treatment in order to ensure your young adult’s success here at Brightstone.
