Adolescents and young adults face real problems on a daily basis during the most awkward growth stages of their lives. During this time, they are exposed to some overwhelming external and internal struggles. They are expected to cope with social and parental forces, work and school pressures, as well as encountering many conditions and problems. The issues they face today vary but these issues can be dealt with through strong leadership, effective mentoring, and continual support.
Our “individualized person-centered approach” delivers services based on client’s interests, abilities, and changing needs. We build relationships with adolescents and young adults based on trust and understanding to ensure each child achieves his or her desired goals. We create communication with service providers, medical and clinical providers and educational resources. Our person-centered approach helps identify passions within our clients to achieve a greater self-sufficiency and successful achievement of goals. Adolescents and young adults are encouraged to explore their interests and futures as related to employment and career, education, living situation, personal wellbeing, and community-life functioning.
Our Community Based Services will provide the leadership, guidance, and support to help your child or adult develop a positive identity and sense of purpose. He or she will acquire the capacity to make decisions consistent with personally meaningful goals; acquire skills that contribute to the ability to take on adult roles; and develop supportive and meaningful relationships.
